Since this is a section about Super Sentai, I figured I'd go ahead and get things started on here by asking, what is your favorite Super Sentai season, and why? (if you don't want to say, that's fine, I think that stating why will bring up talking points though).
I will say that I have seen only 2 Super Sentai series all the way to the end, and out of the two, I chose Choujin Sentai Jetman as my number one.
The reasons why are the fact that the heroes as well as the villains all have a three dimensional personality. Though the story is heavy on drama, especially infighting, and there are times that it feels more like a soap opera than a toku show. The action is great, and the monsters of the week are also quite interesting. The villains are great, and quite capable, because there are numerous occasions where they just straight up wipe the floor with the heroes, hell, even the grunts are shown to be able to do actual damage.
This is just a great show, and it is subbed in full, so there is no reason that you all shouldn't check it out.

I have seen a good portion of Jetman and heartily agree with you. Gai Yuki's reluctance to join the team at first made him one of my favorite sentai members of any group. that and his love for the ladies and fine scotch. My favorite sentai that I have watched so far would have to be Kaizoku Sentai Goranger. This also stems from the fact that the characters aren't 2d. They each have a strong front with a well trodden past that they also have to deal with. Not only that but the fact that you also get to learn a slight amount of Super Sentai history to go along with it. Brining it back to Jetman and my favorite Gai (see what I did there?), Gokaiger also finally closes the book on his life letting you know what happened to him in the anniversery episode centered around the Jetman's Black Condor. If you haven't seen that episode yet I would recommend checking it out.

If you haven't seen that episode yet I would recommend checking it out. Gai was just the most manly badass ever. Plus, his fued with Ryu eventually worked for the better, and made Ryu's character a little less boy scout-ish. You're talking about Gokaiger as your favorite, right? I ask because I know the Kaizoku goes with Gokaiger, but there is a Goranger, so I'm just making sure. That is the only other season I have watched all the way through (As you can probably tell from my Super Hero Taisen review). I really enjoyed the series and it made me want to get into Super Sentai even more. I only have problem with Don, and not him as a character, but the fact that they never gave him a backstory, and his focus episodes did get a little same-y. But overall I loved the series, and saw it as a great introduction for anyone who wants to get into the franchise. The Jetman episode was my first episode of the series, because it had come off the heels of me watching Episodes 23 and 24 (The only episodes of Jetman I had watched at the time, still love them). It was my favorite of the series, because it wrapped up a question that many fans had at the end of Jetman, while involving the Gokaigers, and adding some character to them as well. It showed that Marvelous had some fear in him and had made some powerful enemies on his travels, and Gai made him a better man by the end of the episode. Watching Gai kick all the Gormin's asses was a great time, and I was so happy to see him back in he Black Condor costume. As a final thing that I will gush about, I loved how the episode told us where the other members of the team were, and at Gai's grave, we saw a little piece of them and their friendship towards him left there. Just a great episode! What series have you seen, Otter?

Yes I did mean Gokaiger. I have seen a portion of Goranger and living in a house with kids can be quite distracting!
As far as what Sentai series have I watched, I have watched large portions of quite a few. The ones I would get into were either abandoned, or took forever to sub.
The first series I finished was Gokaiger and much like yourself it made me want more!
I have seen most of Zyuranger, Dairanger, and Liveman. As well as some episodes of Sun Vulcan, GoRanger, Shinkenger, and Battle Fever J
I'm roughly five or six episodes away from finishing Jetman. I have also seen all of Akibarangers, even though it is Unofficial.
As to not further confuse myself I'm going to finish these particular series before I start anymore.
I do believe the next one after I am done with these is going to be either Gingaman or Megaranger, not sure which though.

I've only seen 2 series all the way, I guess once I get on a series, I don't quit until the end, becaise I don't have any ones that I stopped watching. I'm on Dairanger, and 2 episodes in, I'm really digging it.
Next on my to-do list, in between Kamen Rider series are, Shinkenger, Gekiranger, Dekaranger, Maskman, and Zyuranger.
You really need to see those last episodes of Jetman, the ending episodes are amazing, I love the way how they tie up almost everything, though I'm sure you're like me, and wish that you didn't know how Gai would up.
And out of those two, I'd pick Megaranger, I've heard it's much better than Gingaman. If Kakuranger had more episodes subbed, I'd recommend it for pure ninja powered cheesey fun!

Well I'm choking down as much of Sun Vulcan as I can first and just making my way up the timeline as quickly as I can!
As far as Kamen Rider is concerned, I have not seen much. I think I'm going start with Ryuki, mainly because this is the earliest complete series i can find beside the very first Kamen Rider which came out in the 70's.

Sounds like a good plan! I've been wanting to watch some of the seasons without PR equivalents, I feel that it makes it to where there isn't as much spoiler when it comes to designs and whatnot.
As for Kamen Rider, I've been told that Kamen Rider W is the best series to start on. Kamen Rider V3 was actually done professionally, and I'm sure can be found online. Kamen Rider Amazon, which came out in 74-75 is o ly 24 episodes and done. Kamen Rider Black, which I've heard is awesome, is all available on youtube, I think. Kamen Rider Kuuga is available through Midnight Crew Fansubs. Kamen Rider Agito is done through Gomen Rider. Then you have Ryuki.

My favorite sentai is a 3-way tie between Gokaiger, Go-Onger and Jetman.
